I'm Kulchalee, founder of Kulchalee Arts.

I am a cultural diversity artist, educator, and mentor with over 40 years of experience. Rooted in African and Caribbean heritage, my work blends art, performance, storytelling, and education to celebrate and share culture across generations and communities. I've led workshops across the UK, Europe, Africa, and Jamaica, collaborating with schools, prisons, festivals, and more.

Stonecast model art workshops

African and Caribbean Stonecast Art Model Workshops act as a form of Art Therapy that helps participants’ emotional, social well-being, and their cultural diversity education. I was inspired to create this workshop in 1983, I use my own adaptation of latex moulds to create stonecast models that cover a variety of themes, including the African, Caribbean, and British culture from the present and historically.
Each participant will get to decorate their own pre-made stonecast model using acrylic paints and metallic gilding creams. Models will be completed and dried within the session, enabling participants to either take home or exhibit them.
5 years old up to any aged adult age

textiles, tie dye art & Adinkra block printing workshops

Tie Dye Workshops
Each participant will have the opportunity to tie-dye a t-shirt or fabric, and then, when dry, choose a stencil to print on the t-shirt/fabric.
Adinkra Block Printing Workshops
Each participant will have the opportunity to do African block printing on fabrics or create their own flags.

I have 8 years of experience training new police cadets in Wiltshire where it was compulsory every three months to do Cultural Diversity training with me.
Up to 1 hour of talk/lecture about Cultural Diversity & my experiences over the years with racism & challenges.
Up to 1 hour African Drumming & Percussion Workshop
Lunch Break
Up to 1 hour of a group overview discussion with questions & answers about Cultural Diversity.
I can provide this workshop for Teachers, Emergency Personnel and other Organisations/Professionals.
